GRIEF COUNSELING
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
Comfort in the Darkness
When losing someone close to you it can feel like you are left broken in pieces lying on the floor by yourself in the darkness. Grief has a way of leaving us in a heavy fog not knowing where we are or who we are without our loved one. This is called Grief Fog. It can blind us and make us not be able to think, speak, hear, or even operate in our daily life. At Psalm 23 Counseling we will walk with you in the fog. We help you navigate the darkness and fog. Here we rely on Psalm 23:4 that God will provide us comfort as we walk this lonely dark road.
Healing from the Scars
Losing someone we love can feel like we were ripped in pieces. The person that meant so much to us, who was apart of us is now gone. Grief has a way of making us feel like we are not ourselves anymore without that person. At Psalm 23 Counseling we walk with you as you grieve the separation from the person you love and the loss of apart of yourself. The healing from the scars takes time and attention. It is similar to if you broke an arm or a leg you must give it time and attention to heal. The scars of the separation can be very real and raw. These scars need healing. Psalm 23 Counseling can guide you through the healing process.
