What if…
We grow up believing that in order to be a successful, productive member of society we must have a big career, a loving family, well-behaved yet active kids, a big house with a well-maintained yard, and we must also volunteer in our community. We have to do this all with a smile on our face, to keep up the appearance that we are able to juggle all of this just like our friends. What if, we stop focusing on juggling all of this to keep up with our image that we can handle it. What if, we focus on our spiritual growth with our relationship with God before we focus on juggling everything. What if, we tell someone not right now my plate is full. What if, we stop and look at what we are doing to ourselves and our family. What if, we take a moment to breathe and define success differently. Look at each task given to you and ask yourself how does this fit in to what God wants for me. Am I overworked do I need help? Somewhere along the way we forgot why we are doing everything all at once. We forget why we are juggling all these tasks. Sometimes we need to drop everything for just a moment to revaluate our goals, mission, and purpose. Take a moment this evening after the days tasks are done just to remember what is my goal in life. Am I centering my chooses around that? If not, it's okay to restructure your life. It's okay to rebuild your daily routine, your family structure. It is not too late!
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Now, go revaluate your goals, mission, and purpose!
